the relativity of trust

being social beings, we want to trust and feel like we are close to someone... we want to bring the illusion of not being alone as close to the reality as possible and we do that by sharing intimacy and caring and trusting that the caring will continue to be there whenever we want reassurance that someone wants to share the illusion of not being alone with us... that gives us a sense of worth, value, and meaning...

the relativity of trust is that those we trust most can hurt us most by doing nothing, simply by going silent, by ignoring us, by not communicating... the trust that creates the shared illusion of not being alone depends on the continued sharing for that sharing makes the caring tangible... for caring is a verb, it is action and reaction, and without the action of communication, the trust can be replaced by a feeling of betrayal...

and this is where i come, after the sharing is done,
to remember reality, we are each alone
and this is where i come, after the blogging is done,
to remember i am on my own

and this is where i come, to clear any confusion
to remind myself that even trust is an illusion

and this is where i come, after the caring is done,
to clarify my mind
and this is where i come, after the blogging is done
to leave the world behind

it's a place of contentment, however reluctant at times, in a very sad world :}

thank you for being :)
